G’day From Oz – what’s it all about?
Feb 11th, 2009 by ricmac
For our Blogging Challenge #1, we thought we’d introduce ourselves to the blogging world by telling you a bit about where and who we are.
We are a Yr 6/7 class in a fantastic school in the foothills of Adelaide, South Australia. If you were to look out across our oval or front lawn area, you’d probably see a few koalas in the gum trees, kookaburras laughing at Mr Mac (oops, who said that?), and countless bird life – at times there are more ducks on our oval than students!. We think we have a special environment and we all try to take care of it as best we can. There are 29 creative and energetic students in our class, all who love this new adventure (blogging) that we have begun this year. We would love to hear from other classes, students, teachers, just about anyone really so that we can build blogging relationships around the globe.

Hello Mr Mac and Room 12!
I thought I would join the blog-bandwagon and have my e-voice heard. Hopefully I will be able to use my own blog ( http://mistag.edublogs.org/ ) for some classroom activities as well!

Hi!
I’m Christina!
I’m in grade 7.
Your blog is really cool. You guys actually can see koalas on your front lawn? That is really cool! Over here in Michigan, if you want to see koalas, you have to go to the zoo.
Oops! I forgot something!
