Who Are You?
September 20, 2009 by ricmac
We, the Superstars from this blog in Adelaide, South Australia, are really happy that our blog has attracted so many hits from interstate and overseas, but we have noticed that quite a few people have visited our blog and not left a comment.
To all INTERSTATERS and INTERNATIONALS who have visited our blog…..can you please take a minute to answer these 3 questions?
(1) Who would be your country’s best athlete/sports-person?
(2) Can you suggest one new sport that should be included in the next Olympics?
(3) Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions. Your answers will assist our class in their upcoming assignment.

Hey Mr. Mac
I know I’m not from another country but I though I would comment anyway.
It seems that we have had quite a lot of visitors from the U.S. if you look at the Flag counter.
It would be cool if people from other states and places did comment on our blog and leave a link to theirs so we could make contact and find out new things.

Hey MM,
Even though I’m not either of them I’d still like to answer those questions
1. Of couse that’s gotta be Jonathan Brown!!!!
2. I would say AFL but I think it’s better being a singular competition so I don’t really know how to answer that question.
3.I’d have to say NZ, because I met so many people there that it made every day so much fun, I also enjoyed performing to so many strangers!
I have nothing else to respond to so I guess that’s it!!!
Oh well…
Thanks for reading!

Hi Mr. Mac
I know I wasn’t born overseas but I am half american so that sort of counts so I will answers your questions from an American perspective.
I think Tiger Woods would be Americas best athlete.
I reckon baseball should be included in the next Olympics.
My favourite holiday destination would probably be Milan.

Hi Mr Mac
I may not be interstate or international, but I am inter-um….I’m sure I’ll think of something!
1) Our best sports person is Liz Ellis because she is a great netball player and she’s really nice as well-and she’s a defender, and so am I!
2) I think a new sport for the Olympics should be tap because a lot of people know how to play it and it is very interesting when people change rules. Another sport could be laser skirmish because it is also interesting and intense.
3) My favurite holiday destination is New Zealand or the USA because they both have lots of things to do and I guess I also just really loved New Zealand when I went last year!
I hope my answers are at least satisfactory,

P.S. Camp was really, really, really fun!
Hey MM
How are you?
I’m not overseas or interstate but I would like to reply anyway.
I don’t really know any athletes or sports-people so I’ll just answer the other two Qu’s.
2. I think Netball should be in the Olympics because lots of people like playing or watching Netball and it is an interesting sport.
3. I haven’t really been on any holidays so this is where I would like to go on holiday: I would like to go to Queensland because of the fun parks and lots of people like going there.
See you later

Ayy MM!
I am a proud international from England! Here are my answers –
1. Steven Gerrard. Now, I dont actually know who he is, (or any other English athletes) but according to Justin and Ben, he playes soccer!
2. I’d say AFL, but I dont think that would work because we would have to teach the rest of the worl how to play!
3. My favourite holiday of America, and I cant wait because Im going there for Christmas this year!

Hey Mr Mac
I’m not from interstate or overseas but I’d like to answer those questions.
1) I think our freatest currnet sports person is Tim Cahill because he is still one of the top players overseas in England in the Barclays Premier League.
2) I think they should include cricket in the Olympics because most countries have a team.
3) I don’t really have a favourite holiday destination beacause I’ve never been out of the state otr on a plane, but I’m going to Canberra on the 29th of Septmeber.
Thanks for reading and Cya later

Hey MM!
I know I’ve already replied to this post, but I thought Id add another dot to your flag counter. I’m in Hanoi in Vietnam at the moment!
Its a really nice place, but there are SO many motorcycles – there are more of them than there are of cars! Its really hard to cross the street becasuse they dont stop even if there is a red light, so you just have to go and walk and hope that they dont want to hit you.
Its really hot here – maybe 35 degrees. But in Singapore (where we spent the first night) it was WAY hotter! And they had lots of designer stores too…
Tomorrow we are going to a water puppets show near a lake that is pretty close to our hotel. it should be really cool!
