School Sports Day

This Friday is our Sports Day. I know how much everyone is looking forward to this event. The Sports Leaders have done a fabulous job so far and I hope they all have their speeches prepared….just in case!
I have two questions to ask all of the visitors to our blog:
(1) What are your three favourite events from your Sports Day?
(2) If you were asked to rename your school’s Sports Day teams, what would they be named and why?

My favorite events from sports day are hurdles, sprints and long jump. Light would be called Sky blue, Barker would be called Gold, Flinders would be called Grass Green and Sturt world be called Sun Red. Do you know why the teams are called Flinders, Sturt, Barker and Light?

My favourite 3 events were hurdles, sprints and corner spry.
I think I would rename the teams as: Wattle, Kangaroo Paw, Waratah and Wattle. (It doesn’t matter which is which)
I had a lot of fun on sports day.Congratulations to the blue team and all the captains, who worked extermely hard.

My three favourite events from Sports Day are the Whole School Relay, High Jump and Tug Of War!
I am in the Blue team and currently we are called Light. I would like our team to be called Sturt, because there is a basketball team which is Sturt and their uniform is Blue!
Oh and one more thing…..
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Molly here the ansers to your questions are I think that high jump and basket ball relay were the best.
I like the names as they are I wouldent dhange them.

The three events that I loved most were the high jump, the volleyball and the tug of war despite some peoples injuries I think those three were the best. And my Sports Day names could be Ponting, Symmonds, Bradman and Warne. Anyway, it’s just a suggestion but it may be a little weird. And I have one question. How did you go in your cricket match on Friday?

I think you did an excellent job on writing our “School Sports Day” column. I also think that if you were to change the colours of the teams I would pick Sky Blue, Green Machines, Red Rocks and Golden Sun. It’s a bit silly but that’s just what I thought of. Our class blog has been going so well because lots and lots of people have been blogging us back and leaving a comment on our blog site. Anyway, in the future can we get some more stuff on our blog site so that we can be one of the best school blogs in S.A? And when are we going to get our new avatar ready and running?

Sports day and now Easter? I can’t keep up with it all!!!
For new names? I would call my colours purple people eaters, pink panthers, golden gorilas, and the red rubys. I don’t meen to bost but I love ALL of these names.I would be on the pink panthers! I love the blog! It’s so colourful and different compared to some blogs! I agree with what Ashley said, that we should get our avatars ready soon! I like the weather new dress!She looks pretty in pink! Maybe she could be in the pink panthers too?
My favourite activities were: High jump, sprints, rugby (even though the first time I tackled the bag i wacked my leg on the ground!),and I loved the hurdles relay!

I HATED Cross Country.
I hav no idea wat i’d call the teams……… I’ll leave that 2 u!

My favourite events were…
Volleyball,Tug-of-War and Sprints.Oh yeah about the names for the teams,I think the Red team should be
Red flames, yellow should be golden suns, blue should be Blue sky and Green should be Green machines(great idea Ashley I LOVE it!!!!).
Next year the Red team will win because I said so.Be prepared!!!

at morrinsville intermediate our school have sports day every friday and we have it during the other days. on fridays we have teams and we go of and play two games every friday our favorite games are medic,hurly burly,and non stop cricket we like sports at our school its lots of fun
